Frustrated H-induced instability of Mo(110).
The large interest in the properties of transition metal surfaces has been recently fostered by inelastic helium atom scattering experiments carried out by Hulpke and Lüdecke. Sharp and giant anomalies in the surface phonon dispersion curves along ΓH and ΓS have been detected on W(110) and Mo(110) at a coverage of one monolayer of hydrogen. At the same critical wave vectors a smaller second ind...
متن کاملLower previsions induced by multi-valued mappings∗
We discuss how lower previsions induced by multi-valued mappings fit into the framework of the behavioural theory of imprecise probabilities, and show how the notions of coherence and natural extension from that theory can be used to prove and generalise existing results in an elegant and straightforward manner. This provides a clear example for their explanatory and unifying power.
متن کاملIrradiation Induced Localized Amorphization in Mo-Re Alloy Films
To investigate the irradiation properties of Mo-Re alloy of low Re content (atm%: 0% 8:4%), Mo-Re alloy films were irradiated by 200 keV xenon ions at the dose of 5 10 ions/cm. Different irradiation effects were observed on the samples of different Re content. While the sample of pure Mo remained the same after irradiation, obvious localized amorphization phenomenon took place in the sample wit...
متن کاملBuilding Topic Specific Language Mo Competitive Mo
The ability to build topic specific language models, rapidly and with minimal human effort, is a critical need for fast deployment and portability of ASR across different domains. The World Wide Web (WWW) promises to be an excellent textual data resource for creating topic specific language models. In this paper we describe an iterative web crawling approach which uses a competitive set of adap...
